Entry Requirements

Over 18 years of age.

Completed a minimum Year 12 Secondary Education.

Basic knowledge and understanding of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies as well as business planning and operations.

Course Structure

This is a Nationally Recognised qualification that contains 8 units: 6 core units and 2 elective units.

BLKEBF001: Establish a blockchain framework for decentralised peer to peer consensus and innovation

BLKDBM002: Develop a blockchain business model

BLKFRS003: Develop a blockchain network functional requirements specification

BLKSMC004: Create trust and activate a blockchain with smart contracts

BLKOBN005: Develop a framework for operating a blockchain network

BLKSNW006: Develop a strategic network framework for interoperability

Elective Units:

BLKTBO007: Prepare the organisation for transitioning operations to a blockchain network

BLKERE008: Develop a blockchain governance model for stewardship

BLKRFB009: Lead recruitment strategy for blockchain projects

BLKPER010: Analyse performance of a business model deployed on a blockchain

Duration & Delivery

10747NAT Advanced Diploma of Applied Blockchain may take an individual with limited existing experience in this industry area approximately 12 months to complete. Depending on your experience and/or opportunities you may be able to achieve the qualification in 10-12 months. If studying part-time, the duration is 12-18 months to achieve competence in this qualification.

Delivery options include Online (with access to Saltera Trainers when needed), Blended Learning (1 classroom session per month plus regular interaction with your Saltera Trainer) or Intensive Classroom Based.

Assessment Methods

Assessments include answering written questions, completing projects and practical tasks in simulated workplace environments.

Enrolment Dates
