10849NAT Diploma of Applied Blockchain provides students with a range of knowledge, skills and specific competencies to support them in gaining employment in applying blockchain technologies within an existing or new organisation.

Entry Requirements

Over 18 years of age.

Completed a minimum Year 12 Secondary Education.

Basic knowledge and understanding of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies as well as business planning and operations.

Course Structure

This is a Nationally Recognised qualification that contains 8 units: 6 core units and 2 elective units.

Core Units:

BLKEBF001: Establish a blockchain framework for decentralised peer-to-peer consensus and innovation

NAT10849001: Apply the tenets of blockchain to create value

NAT10849002: Plan for a blockchain business model implementation

NAT10849003: Plan for disintermediation within a blockchain business model

NAT10849004: Develop a blockchain team business model

NAT10849005: Apply big data to blockchain marketing strategies

Elective Units:

NAT10849006: Develop blockchain governance policy

NAT10849007: Apply blockchain to the Internet of Things

Duration & Delivery

10849NAT Diploma of Applied Blockchain may take an individual 6-9 months to complete depending on intensity. If studying part-time, the duration is 12-18 months to achieve competence in this qualification.

Delivery options include Online (with access to Saltera Trainers when needed), Blended Learning (1 classroom session per month plus regular interaction with your Saltera Trainer) or Intensive Classroom Based.

Assessment Methods

Assessments include answering written questions, completing projects and practical tasks in simulated workplace environments.

Enrolment Dates

Saltera Training offers continuous enrolment throughout the year for Online or Blended Learning, and there are multiple intakes throughout the year for Intensive Classroom Based learning.
