This unit provides trainees with the skills and knowledge required to load and unload goods and cargo in accordance with relevant state/territory roads and traffic authority regulations/permit requirements.
The student will be taught the regulatory requirements along with the key skills necessary to secure loads to be transported safely. The course has been designed to adhere to WHS workplace and regulatory requirements when conducting work activities within the transport and supply chain industries.
TLID0015 Load and unload goods/cargo can be delivered face-to-face and completed in 6 hours. Alternatively, it can be completed online (self-paced).
Assessment may include answering questions in your workbooks or online, doing projects and practical tasks, some of which may need to be observed by a person in your workplace, or directly by your assessor, and may also include keeping a log of activities you complete in the workplace that your supervisor can confirm.
